This past Saturday, Senior Class Dean Erich Schneider gave the best Baccalaureate speech ever given at Shorecrest. The giggles, raucous applause, and moistened eyes were not prompted by deeply profound words of wisdom. Rather, Erich made a lasting mark on the Class of 2015 by giving them the absolute worst possible advice for new graduates. If you weren’t there for Baccalaureate, you can view a video or read Erich’s full remarks here.
We are a week away from a 12-week summer break. In honor of David Letterman’s retirement, I offer the Top 10 pieces of advice for having a safe and productive summer:
10. Eat ice-cream
9. Exercise
8. Train for a sport
7. Get a job
6. Volunteer
5. Take a class
4. Make something
3. Help someone
2. Solve problems
1. Read, Read, Read, Read, Read!
Did I say stay busy, have fun and be safe?
Cheers!
Mike
