Collection Drive for Ukraine

Service News Service News

Misha Drunov ‘24 organized a collection drive to better the chances of Ukraine’s victory and hopefully save lives. A total of 172lb of donations have been sent to Ukraine including medical supplies (which are being used in hospitals). Also delivered: flashlights (tactical, small), headlamps, LED lanterns, AAA batteries, sleeping bags, blankets and thermoses. The volunteers are sending their specific thanks for the IFAK trauma kit, and they are asking for more if possible. Toe warmers and HotHands Super Warmer value packs are highly appreciated as Ukraine still has quite a bit of snow.

With many thanks and deep appreciation for our donations thus far, the volunteers of ‘Edyne Dgerelo’ sent pictures and said they already delivered the items to those in need.

A huge thank you to all of the Shorecrest families who donated! Misha and his family have asked that we extend our collection through the end of the school year. One collection bin is located in Charger Commons and one in Landy Hall.
