Shorecrest Parents, Grandparents, Faculty and Staff volunteered together to build an art wall, eight garden boxes, and a mud kitchen last week for the playscape outside the new Experiential School.
Special thanks to Mark Newton, Ed Lavoie, Takeya Trayer, Ginger Thompson, Erick Smith, Phil Courtier, Eric Johnson, Taylor Styke, Jackie Roller, Steve Lowe, Brad Miller, Abbie Hahn, Liz Daley, and Dave Sharlow for your time and efforts! We appreciate all of our volunteers!
Students look forward to planting in the new garden boxes, caring for the garden, and using what they grow to cook. The art wall will provide opportunities for painting and other forms of creative expression outdoors. The children will delight in open-ended, hands-on play in the mud kitchen.
