Junior Kindergarteners in Mrs. Hahn's class enjoyed a celebration that was pretty in pink. Students learned the art of quilling and rolled strips of colored paper on white hearts. In another area of the classroom, slime with sprinkles and glitter was waiting for little fingers to mold.
On the rug, students stacked red and pink cups. Did you know that the simple act of cup stacking can have benefits for cognitive development and targets specific areas of the body and the brain to increase intelligence, problem solving skills and critical thinking? It is also recognized as a sport in the Junior Olympic Games.
SAGE Dining Services provided delicious heart shaped cookies for the party that celebrated love and kindness.
