Source/Author: Dominique Craft, ES & LS Dean of Curriculum
January 27, 2019
Thursday, January 31, 6-7:30pm
in the Shorecrest Lower School Block Room
Bring your inner child to Shorecrest on January 31 at 6pm for a block building experience! Enjoy a glass of wine and a tasty treat as you use your imagination to construct a bridge, tower, castle, robot, dinosaur… the possibilities are endless! Bring your friends and experience the joys of play, collaboration, and creativity.
This event is hosted by Dominique Craft, Dean of Curriculum and Instruction for the Experiential and Lower Schools, and Alissa Vigue, Kindergarten Teacher, and is designed for parents of current and prospective students in Alpha - First grade. This social and educational event will help families understand the “flow” of a Shorecrest Lower School block building session and the curricular connections to math, literacy, and project work.
Because of space constraints in our block room, this workshop is limited to 10 participants (adults only, please). RSVP at http://bit.ly/BuildandSip by Friday, January 25. Parking available in the front lot off of First Street.
