TLC hosts Dr. Chelsea Rivera for a parent education session for MS and US parents/guardians. Dr. Rivera will speak on Wednesday, February 22 in the Ohana Community Room at 8:30am on the topic of “Anxiety, Self-Regulation and Positive Coping: Supporting our students on the road to success.”

The Ohana Room is on the 2nd floor of Charger Commons. Please give yourself ample time to park and walk upstairs. [map]

Dr. Chelsea Rivera provides in-home and community-based Occupational Therapy
and Executive Function Coaching through Viva O.Therapy. Viva draws on holistic
wellness, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness to provide client-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Dr. Rivera received her Bachelors of Science in Human and Social Development from the University of Miami’s School of Education and completed her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California. Post-graduation she worked at UCLA’s Geffen Academy as a Wellness Educator for 6th-12th grade students before transitioning into a pediatric sensory-based occupational therapy clinic. She continuously seeks opportunities to deepen her OT skillset and improve her interdisciplinary leadership abilities, with a focus on community well-being and mental health.
