Alumnipalooza Success

Alumni

Over the past 2 weeks, annual Alumnipaloozas were held in Boston and New York.

In Boston, Shorecrest alumni traveled from as far away as New Haven to join Mr. Heller for lunch at Jacob Wirth, one of the oldest restaurants in the city. A total of 15 alumni from the classes of 2009-2015 attended. Everyone also had the opportunity to watch Nic Baird '15 compete in a sailing race on the Charles.

Both Kate Merritt, Director of Alumni Programs, and Mr. Heller met alumni from the classes of 1989-2015 in New York. The group shared a lively meal at White Oak Tavern in Greenwich Village. Alumni traveled from as far away as Philadelphia, Poughkeepsie and New Haven to schmooze and reminisce for a few hours.

A common theme shared in both cities was "Shorecrest prepared me well" for the challenges of college, graduate school and beyond. In fact, many said the hardest classes they ever took were at Shorecrest! It was great to see so many Chargers! Shorecrest is so proud of all they have accomplished in their early careers.
