Start of School Forms
If you have not done so already, please complete and turn in all forms. To access start of school forms in PowerSchool, use the link from the Parent page of shorecrest.org: https://www.shorecrest.org/page/parents.

After School
If a student is attending our MS After School Study Hall for grades 5-8, Mrs. Dattilo would like them to be aware of four items.  
  1. Bring a water bottle from home labeled with your name
  2. Bring an independent reading book to use after completing homework
  3. The two main rules for study hall are the same as during the school day - BE KIND and Do the Right Thing
  4. If you need to reach Mrs. Dattilo from 3pm - 6pm her cell number is 727-560-7290.
If a Middle School student is riding home with an Upper School sibling, the Middle School student will wait in the Middle School breezeway in front of the office.

Global Scholars Initiative Info Meeting
As an extension of the Global Scholars Initiative at Shorecrest, fifth and eighth grade families are invited to host an international student. Fifth grade will be hosting a delegation from El Salvador and 8th grade will be hosting a delegation from Mexico. This is a two week program. We are looking for families to host the eighth grade delegation in April and the fifth grade delegation in either February or March (this will not interfere with Spring Break). This has been a successful program for over 20 years in Upper School, for three years in fourth grade, and it is time to expand it to Middle School! There will be an informational meeting for families interested in participating on Thursday, September 6 at 6pm in the Lower School Spanish Portable (Charger Blvd by the field). If you have pages from the Shorecrest website bookmarked on a computer or device, this is a great time to update those links. Many pages have been updated or reorganized. 

One-Way Traffic on Campus
For all Back to School Nights, traffic is one-way from 2pm until campus closes after the events. Please drive carefully, other events may occur on campus at the same time.
The remaining Back to School Nights are: 
  • Tuesday, August 28 - Experiential School 
  • Thursday, August 30 - Lower School 
  • Wednesday, September 5 - Upper School 

Upcoming Events
Monday, September 3: Labor Day, No School
Thursday, September 6: Picture Day! Yearbook photos for grades 5-11
Saturday, September 8: Parent Patio Social (for parents/guardians of all grades), 6:30-9pm at Kozuba & Sons Distillery, St. Pete.
