Congratulations to the 31 Shorecrest Middle School students who competed in the Bay Area Forensic Meet this week, the first Forensic meet of the school year. The 6 teams of Chargers placed in every category overall. A special shoutout to our fifth graders who faced up against older middle schoolers and scored two 2nd place wins and a 1st place win in this public speaking and debate competition. 

Garnishing trophies were:
  • sixth graders Simone H and Lauren K - 1st place in duo drama
  • sixth grader Alexandra M - 1st place in prose
  • fifth grader Zane M - 1st place in declamation  
  • sixth grader Braden S - 1st place in poetry
  • fifth grader Huntley P - 2nd place in prose
  • fifth grader Austin S - 2nd place in declamation
  • sixth grader Sally K - 3rd place in Prose
  • seventh grader Caiden S - 4th place in original oratory
  • seventh grader Sarah K - 5th place in individual drama
  • seventh grader Tommy M - 5th place in impromptu
  • sixth graders Gia B and Kaylie D - 5th place in duo drama
