Fascination with creatures

If you walk into Ms. Daley's Experiential School classroom, the students' fascination with creatures is evident. Creatures big and small fascinate children and become catalysts for new investigations.
The young Chargers have welcomed dinosaurs and sharks into their space, and Liz has masterfully provided them with interactive backdrops, which also bring the excitement of light and shadow to the environment.
Through the addition of loose parts (blocks and other manipulatives) the teachers created a multisensory experience, and stories were born right before our eyes!
While building or following the movement on the screen, students felt transported to and immersed in a new world.
This safe relationship with "danger" is also an important part of development and provides the children with opportunities to experience some feelings in a way that they know won't cause any harm.
