Mrs. Kotsko's class harvested their carrots and cucumbers from the Lower School organic garden. There were a few more purple beans ready for them to pick as well. The tomatoes are still growing. There are many on the vines, though they are not ripe yet. The children were amazed to see how much the carrots had grown below the soil and anxiously waited to see which one would be the largest of the harvest.

After harvesting, everyone cleaned the vegetables and then enjoyed them as part of snack.
