Varsity Bowling Volunteers at CareFest 2014

Varisty Bowling Chargers gathered for a service day, and waded in and cleaned around Crescent Lake as part of CareFest 2014. Overgrown floating lettuce can rapidly reproduce without manatee around to munch on it, enabling the plants to proliferate at the expense of beneficial, native plant communities. The bowlers helped clear away floating lettuce all morning. Each volunteer had a great attitude, and as a group they really made a difference!
