Spring Food Drive Happening Now!

Hunger remains a prevalent issue in Pinellas County, especially for families and young children. The Kind Mouse is working to ameliorate that with the mission of assisting families in transition and their chronically hungry children, helping over 12,000 children and donating 60,000 pounds of food in 2015!

Shorecrest is ready to help again! The Spring 2016 Food Drive will officially launch on Tuesday, January 19 (the day after MLK day, a national Day of Service), until March 11, giving us eight weeks for collection. Green bins will be located at each School.

Some of the items needed include:
  • Tuna Pack Snacks
  • Lunch size spaghetti packs/Beefaroni/Ravioli
  • Beanie Weenies/Vienna Sausage
  • Juice Boxes
  • Fruit Packs
  • Individual cereal boxes
  • Apple Sauce
  • Jell-O packs 
  • Pudding packs
  • Pop Tarts 
  • Peanut butter crackers
  • Raisins 
  • Slim Jims
  • Granola Bars
  • Peanut Butter Cups
