Talking about Teeth

A visit by Dentist and Charger parent Diane Hilton, D.M.D. brought knowledge and fun to Mrs. Carson’s Alpha class this week. Dr. Hilton not only talked with the children about keeping their teeth strong and healthy, she also brought lots of props for them explore and practice. The actual models helped the children understand the structure of their teeth and were interesting to manipulate, but the giant mouths on which to practice flossing and teeth to “brush” with toothbrushes and paint were a hit.
