Alexis Ver Eecke (“Ms. V”) is the new Media & Information Technology Specialist for ES and LS.
Ms. V holds a Master’s Degree in Library Information Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from the University of South Florida. Additionally she is a certified Educational Media Specialist in the state of Florida.
Prior to joining Shorecrest in 2023, Alexis worked for the Hillsborough County Public School district for over nine years where she began her career as a Special Education teacher, and later became a Media Specialist after falling in love with reading. Ms. V is an active member of the Florida Association for Media in Education (FAME) and led the 2022 workshop for new Media Specialists.
Beyond all things books, Alexis loves to travel the world with her family and hunt for antiques.
