National History Advisor of the Year

Faculty Spotlight


Ninth Grade History teacher Ron Heller was recently named an Advisor of the Year by the National History Club. The NHC and The History Listrecognize Advisors annually for their exceptional commitment to history education and the mission of the NHC. Advisors received a plaque, as well as a custom made “History Teacher” shirt with Ben Franklin’s image on it. Mr. Heller was selected from among 550+ History Club chapters at high schools and middle schools in 44 states! The National History Club aims to build the reading, research, communication and analytical skills students need to become competent citizens and leaders by inspiring large numbers of secondary school students to implement and participate in history-related programs in their schools and communities.
