New on the playground: Outdoor Blocks

Recently in Ebytes, information was shared about new first grade classroom block sets. Kindergarten and first grade now share an oversized, outdoor wooden block set. It is a wonderful addition to outside play activities! Students are learning to work together, use imagination, and cooperate with one another to build new creations. Because these blocks are so large, they are also a great way for students to extend their gross motor muscles!
Students were introduced to rules to keep block play safe. Ask your child if they can remember the rules.
