Send in Shoes for Costa Rica

For the second year in a row, junior Ben P. is collecting gently used shoes (tennis shoes, Sperry's, ballet flats, sandals and flip flops) for children and teens in the poor neighborhood of La Carpio.
In 2015, the Shorecrest community’s response was terrific and the Upper School student group took 125 pairs of like-new shoes to Costa Rica during Service Week. "The need is overwhelming. We ran out of shoes and there was still a line down the street of people waiting. The families were very grateful." said Ben.
A collection basket will be outside each division office.
