Start of School Forms
If you have not done so already, please complete and turn in all forms. To access start of school forms in PowerSchool, use the link from the Parent page of shorecrest.org: https://www.shorecrest.org/pag e/parents.
Backpack Option
ES families now have the option to purchase a backpack from Lands' End (either with or without the Shorecrest logo) to use instead of a tote bag if you would like to do so. This backpack can hold rest time things plus a lunchbox and snack. It comes in evergreen and may be found on the Lands' End website.
Morning Carline Volunteers Make a Difference
Consider starting your day by making sure children are welcomed to school and safely walked into the hand of a safety patrol. Working together, parent volunteers, school faculty, and administrators arrive early to open car doors, unbuckle students from their car seats, and walk them to the safety patrols. With the help of parent volunteers, carline will run more smoothly and safely. Please contact Rebecca Armacost [email protected] if you can volunteer any morning between 7:25 - 7:55am.
Full Day Dismissal Reminders
Thanks to all our parents for their patience. It takes a few days to make carline flow smoothly. Safety is our number one priority. Parents and guardians can improve the efficiency of dismissal by adhering to the following guidelines:
On Tuesday, August 28, meet at 7pm in the Janet Root Theatre for Opening Remarks. Afterward, parents/guardians will proceed to their child’s classroom to listen to presentations by the teachers. Please attend to find out more about curriculum, social and emotional learning, experiential learning, gardening and the outdoor classroom, student-centered investigations, thinking and communication skills.
The pop-up spirit shop will be open for business at Back to School Night! This event is only for adults. Please plan ahead for the care of your child.
One-Way Traffic on Campus
For all Back to School Nights, traffic is one-way from 2pm until campus closes after the events. Please drive carefully, other events may occur on campus at the same time.
The remaining Back to School Nights are:
Monday, September 3: Labor Day, No School
