Back to School Night
At Back to School Night on Thursday, August 30, you will learn a little more about grade level curriculum and routines and ways you can best partner with your child’s classroom teacher. We will all meet at 7pm in the Janet Root Theatre. This event is only for adults. The pop-up spirit wear shop will be open for business at Back to School Night!
Pickup on Rainy Days
If cars are directed on rainy days to pick up children in the front of the Lower School building, please stay in your car in line. DO NOT PARK. Visitor and faculty spots in the front parking lot are not to be used for arrival and dismissal. Parking in front of the building disrupts the flow of traffic and creates a dangerous situation. All parents picking up students in JK-4 should enter the campus as usual and proceed around the campus, moving into the left lane of Charger Blvd. at the appropriate point. They should continue down Charger and will be directed to turn left into the front faculty parking area. Children will be escorted from the north breezeway to their cars, which will then exit the campus by turning right into the north lane of Pratt Blvd. (unless the driver needs to circle back around).
One-Way Traffic on Campus
For all Back to School Nights, traffic is one-way from 2pm until campus closes after the events. Please drive carefully, other events may occur on campus at the same time. The remianing Back to School Night is Wednesday, September 5 - Upper School.
Clubs
Clubs will start on September 10 and end October 19 (the make-up week is October 22). Click here.
Cub Scouts for boys and girls grades 1-5
Shorecrest’s Cub Pack 303 will have its first pack meeting on Tuesday, September 4, 3:00-4:30.
