Natalye Horne named Girls Varsity Basketball Head Coach

Natalye Horne is joining the Chargers coaching staff as Head Coach for girls' varsity basketball. She brings basketball experience from a player’s and coach’s perspective.
Natalye’s basketball journey began in high school at Highland Park High School (St. Paul, MN). She continued her career for two years at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. There she helped the program advance to the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) finals as well as the NCJAA tournament in 2010. After completing two years in Minneapolis, Natalye matriculated at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri. After completing her final year of eligibility, she was an Assistant Coach for the reserve team (1 season). Upon graduation Natalye moved to Kansas, where she became the girls freshman basketball Head Coach and varsity Assistant Coach at Highland Park High School in Topeka, KS.
Natalye has been teaching second grade at Shorecrest for three years.
