Food Drive benefiting The Kind Mouse

Service News

The Shorecrest Upper School Kind Mouse service club is hosting a food drive from March 28-April 4. There will be red food collection bins in all of the Upper School classrooms. Donations will be given to The Kind Mouse, a local non profit that feeds food-insecure children in Pinellas County. More than 7,000 children in Pinellas County live with chronic hunger and more than 36,000 live every day with food insecurities.

Please donate the following items if you can help: baby formula, baby food, granola bars, fruit cups, gummies, snack packs, or vienna sausages.

Upper School students who donate food may attach a note on the food given with their name on it; then email Victoria Alpert ‘23 or Taylor Hicks ‘23 saying who donated and what was donated. They will then be entered into a raffle to win a gift card. The club will be picking two winners. Everyone is welcome to donate, however, only Upper School students are eligible for the prize.

If you have any questions, please contact one of the club Co-Presidents, Victoria Alpert or Taylor Hicks.
