Middle School News Athletics

The Shorecrest Athletics Office is partnering with the St. Pete Dragons to pilot a club lacrosse program for boys and girls in fifth through eighth grade for the 2024 spring season. All skill levels are welcome, including newcomers to lacrosse.

All boys and girls grades 5-8 who are interested in playing lacrosse should sign up at the Athletics Department office by Wednesday, January 10. Signing up at Shorecrest allows the Athletics Department to help the St. Pete Dragons identify Shorecrest students and place them on a team together. Students will also need to sign up with the St. Pete Dragons directly and will compete in the local club team. Participants can expect a modest fee and practices will be held in the evenings, off-campus.

Shorecrest Chargers Athletics is piloting this program with the St. Pete Dragons with the hopes of creating an official Chargers interscholastic program in the near future.
