The team improved to 2-0 on August 30, while posting dominate performances on both sides of the ball. The offense accounted for a number of explosive plays including touchdown runs of 47 yards by Kemon Dent '28, 48 yards by Nickolas Bearden '25, and a 39 yard touchdown reception by Ahmad Crumity '25. The defense had an outstanding performance as it forced 3 turnovers and held Lakeside to negative yards on offense.

Following the game Nickolas Bearden '25 was in the running for Tampa Bay Florida high school football Player of the Week, stating he led the way with 5-of-5 passing for 104 yards and two scores.
