Exciting Summer Enrichment Opportunities at Shorecrest – Pilot Program Launch!

Upper School News Lower School News

The Center for Academic Excellence and Student Well-Being (CAE) and the Summer at Shorecrest program are thrilled to introduce Shorecrest’s NEW Summer Enrichment Program, designed to provide students with dynamic, hands-on learning experiences that foster confidence, creativity, and academic growth. As a pilot program, this summer’s offerings provide a unique opportunity for students to explore engaging topics, build essential skills, and get ahead for the upcoming school year—all in a supportive and interactive environment.

From executive functioning and college prep workshops to math, science, and literacy enrichment, our Shorecrest faculty instructors will guide students through real-world challenges, collaborative projects, and personalized learning experiences that make summer fun and meaningful. Whether your child is preparing for high school, tackling the PSAT/SAT, strengthening math and writing skills, or diving into STEAM adventures, our program has something for everyone.

This program also highlights the incredible impact of our Teachers Fund! Thanks to your generous support of the Teachers Fund, Lower School teachers Mrs. Ford, Mrs. Husenitza, and Mrs. Oman attended an intensive training at Stanford University on the innovative Youcubed Math program. Now, they’re bringing this cutting-edge approach to our students, ensuring they benefit from the latest research-based strategies to develop a deep, joyful understanding of math.

While most Summer at Shorecrest programs are open to the greater community, the Shorecrest Summer Enrichment Program offerings are open only to current Shorecrest students. With limited spots, we encourage early registration to take advantage of this incredible opportunity.
