Welcome New Staff: Auxiliary and Facilities
Please welcome the following new team members to the Shorecrest community:
Jason Gray, Maintenance Technician
Jason is originally a Tampa native who recently made the move from Orlando back to Tampa, bringing with him a wealth of diverse experiences. Jason owned and operated a moving company for 14 years. Additionally, he honed his skills in construction while working for a local company in Tampa, and at Improv and Funnybone comedy clubs across the United States.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Jason finds joy in fitness and competing in CrossFit.
Ryan Landreth, Maintenance Technician
Ryan is a new addition to the Facilities team hailing originally from the heart of Indiana. He has called Florida home for the past 11 years. With a friendly and outgoing demeanor, Ryan is always ready to lend a helping hand, and brings a wealth of experience, particularly in carpentry. He also ran his own painting business before joining us here at Shorecrest.
Ryan enjoys gliding across the water on a paddleboard or casting a line while fishing.
Jeanine Pena, Auxiliary Programs Administrative Assistant & LS Team Lead Originally from NY, Jeanine Pena moved to St Petersburg in 2021. She has been working in our Extended Day program and recently took on the role of Auxiliary Programs Administrative Assistant when Brandi departed for Hawaii. Jeanine has had several careers including being a licensed acupuncturist, product development manager, and travel agent. Early in her career, she worked as an assistant teacher working with autistic children and adults. She has earned several degrees which include a BA in Psychology / Minor in Special Education, BA in Health Sciences, and Master of Acupuncture.
Jeanine moved to the area with her partner Stephanie to be closer to family, which includes her two nephews who are students at Shorecrest. She also has a grown son who lives out of state and visits frequently. Travel is on her agenda as well as golf, beach time, and fun times with family and friends.
