The Heather Theater in Tampa is producing the world premiere of the play MONEYMAKER, written by Upper School theatre and playwriting teacher Bill Leavengood '78. It will have a three weekend run, November 6-22. You can purchase tickets here: http://moneymakertheplay.bpt.
MONEYMAKER focuses on the up and coming young director of a non-profit arts group who battles to save the organization, her engagement and her soul after her career, morals and convictions are challenged by a billionaire benefactor and the abused homeless woman she takes into her apartment.
Emilee Dupre '02 stars the first two weekends (Nov. 6-8 and 13-15). This play contains adult language and themes and is intended for mature audiences.
