On Tuesday the Chargers faced the Mustangs in a 4:30 middle school volleyball match. The first set was neck-and-neck between the two teams with each exchanging the lead on numerous occasions. Great serving performances were displayed by Cassandra F and Julia G, and Felina D had a nice kill. Dylan W, the team’s primary setter, made a timely backset over the net to surprise the Mustangs. Northside went on to win 25 - 22.
The second set was also closely contested, and just as exciting as the first. Dylan W put forth a string of consistent serves, along with Julia G who recorded an ace. In the end, the girls couldn’t keep the lead and they fell 22-25.
