MS Green Finishes 2014 Season with a Win over Canterbury

Last week the ladies played their final match of the 2014 season when they faced the Canterbury Crusaders. Since the eighth graders were on their class trip to Washington, D.C. last week, the team was down four players, but the ladies didn’t let that bother them when it came time to face off with the Crusaders. During both sets the Chargers maintained control of the game’s pace, and executed well on offense and defense. Great serving was put forth by Dylan W, McKenna M, Taylor A, and Julia G. The Chargers went on to win 25 - 20.
The Chargers carried their winning ways into the second set as they continued to dominate the Crusaders. Julia C had two serving aces, and McKenna M, Peighton S, Taylor A, and Grace L each had one ace in their serves. The Chargers finished winning 25 - 19. Way to go ladies!
