Varsity Golf and Senior Night

The Varsity Golf Chargers competed in the prestigious CCC Invitational at Belleaire CC on Saturday, October 3. The boys played well, as four of our golfers shot in the 80's and below. Brian K. had his lowest round of the season with 84, Chris P. shot a very solid 82 and Mike B. chimed in with an 87.
Senior Greyson P. played exceptionally well, winning by 4 shots in the windy conditions with a 66. This is his third invitational win this season and he has placed 2 and 7th in his other two. He is currently 14 under par for his 18 hole matches this season.

The team took on Northside Christian in two separate matches this week. On Monday October 5, Shorecrest hosted the Mustangs at SPCC, winning the boys match 165-182. Top four scores were recorded from Greyson P. 35, Mike B. 41, Chris P. 43 and Brian K. 46. Adrianna L. competed against a full squad from NCS and placed second overall.

On Wednesday, October 7, the team played at Northside's home courses The Bayou Club and Bardmoor. Our three seniors Greyson, Brian and Chris P. and one senior from Northside, were recognized and presented with a scorecard signed by both teams to honor their last regular season match as Chargers.
The boys team found the course challenging but still notched another victory 172 - NCS 182. Top scores posted by Greyson P. 37, Brian K. 43, Mike B. 45, and Chris P./Will T. 37. Adrianna L. played well and shot 46 on the recently aierified greens.
