Varsity Volleyball in Top Ten

Shorecrest volleyball is leading the way in class 3A Distict 8 with a 7-0 district record and 16-3 overall record. The team is led by the dynamic trio of Senior OH Savanna R with 166 kills, Junior OH Nicole L with 146 kills, and Freshman RS Jacqueline S with 121 kills. Taylor W is also providing great opportunities for the hitters to be successful, bringing in a total of 449 assists so far this season.
The reason for the success comes from the strength of the team and the depth that this team has in all 13 varsity players. This was shown in their last victory against Seminole High school where they had great defense, aggressive serving, and were able to get the entire offense involved.
The great fan support the team has been getting is a huge part of the success on the court! The atmosphere for the home games has been great, and really pushes the girls to perform. Keep it up through the districts and on the journey to states to support your Chargers!
