Delayed Start for Indoor Interscholastic Competition

Based on the recommendation of the Shorecrest Health & Safety Task Force, Chargers Basketball will delay the start of interscholastic competition at least through December 18. As with the initial delay of competition in the fall, this decision will be reviewed weekly by the Task Force and is subject to change as conditions evolve. Chargers Basketball may continue with their training/conditioning schedules, following the school’s Health and Safety protocols.
Because it is held outdoors, Chargers Soccer may continue with scheduled interscholastic competition with limited spectators, maintaining the Shorecrest Health and Safety guidelines.
The delay in interscholastic competition will allow Shorecrest an opportunity to assess the environment and ensure that Basketball can proceed in a safe and healthy manner. Thank you for your flexibility and support!
