Solids and Liquids: Kindergarten Science

Kindergarten has started a new Science unit on Solids and Liquids. We have been observing, comparing and describing solids. We have been discussing the similarities and differences among twenty different solid objects. The children had the chance to predict and then experiment with the twenty solids to see if they roll, stack or both.
The kindergartners look forward to continuing to experiment and investigate these solid objects and then move on to experimenting with liquids.
