Coding Around Campus

Lower School News

The Hour of Code is a global initiative aimed at promoting computer science awareness and encouraging students to explore coding. This year, students across the School participated! Upper School students participated in advisory sessions where they engaged in coding-related activities, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills. Middle School students also joined the initiative, taking part in various activities designed to introduce them to the fundamentals of programming. Lower School students visited the Innovation Lab to explore hands-on activities and also participated in "Code with Your Kid" sessions with their families after school.

While programming is taught year-round within our curriculum, the Hour of Code is a great way to expose the world of computer science in a fun, interactive way.
