First Grade Begins Ocean Work

The first graders ventured off to the Florida Aquarium to kick off their in-depth study of the ocean. Students had the opportunity to encounter the touch tank, experience the sting ray exhibit and learn about a variety of animals. Upon return to campus, the students were asked to reflect on their trip. First graders will now think about an ocean animal or an aspect of the ocean as a topic for a research project.
