New Kindergarten Outdoor Classroom

This week, our class was introduced to the kindergarten outdoor classroom, which is located at the south end of the Lower School building of Shorecrest Preparatory School.
This previously unused space was transformed into an exciting learning area by our kindergarten teachers! It includes easels, a quiet reading rug, a LEGO table, drawing areas, musical instruments, and various small manipulative materials to explore. The focal point of the outdoor classroom is our beautiful water-play table, which includes a waterfall and dams.
The class really enjoys using this new, creative space in the Florida sunshine. Luckily, we were blessed this week with shady areas, a gentle breeze, and no RAIN.
