As the next step in their quilting unit, kindergarteners learned a unique use for quilts. One of our Lower School parents, Mrs. Karine Sabourault, came to share her talent of storytelling with the kindergarten classes this week. She shared an extraordinary quilt with them which she helped design for storytelling while she lived abroad. The quilt has moveable embellishments which can be added or taken off depending upon the story being told. The children loved hearing her story and seeing how a quilt can be used for storytelling!
