Pumpkin Tower Challenge

Lower School News

Kindergarteners worked in teams this week on a fun STEAM challenge. Using only toothpicks and candy pumpkins, each team was to design and create the tallest free-standing pumpkin tower. They learned how to work and communicate with their team, redesign their original ideas, and also how important stability is while doing this project.

The young Chargers loved designing, engineering, and building structures with candy pumpkins.

(The candy pumpkins were used exclusively as building materials during this lesson)
