Cross Country at Indian Rocks Invitational 9/3/15

On Thursday, September 3, the Charger Cross Country teams emerged as Overall Team Champions at the Indian Rocks Invitational. This distinction is based upon adding up all of the team scores - indeed a total team effort!

The boys varsity team finished 1st and were led by senior Luke P. who finished 2nd with a time of 16:19. Also in the top ten were Justin S. - 7th with a time of 18:00 and Casey C. - 10th with a time of 18:32.
The girls varsity team finished 2nd and were led by junior Olivia R. who finished 2nd with a time of 19:53. Also in the top ten was 8th grader Isabelle S. - 9th with a time of 22:46.
On the JV front, 7th grader Julia L. was the 1st place female in the 2 mile race with a time of 14:18 and lead the girls team to their 3rd place finish. The boys JV team finished 4th and were led by 7th grader Gregory G. who finished 3rd with a time of 12:53.
