On Tuesday, December 1, the kindergarteners went on a field study trip to Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. The children toured the Preserve to see a variety of plants and animals living together in various habitats. We were introduced to a Red Rat Snake/Corn Snake and learned the difference between venomous and poisonous. Some of the students spotted a squirrel, a tortoise, a snail, birds and even an alligator! We all enjoyed learning about our native neighbors.
