Reading Week in Kindergarten

The Kindergarten students kicked off Reading Week by dressing as their favorite book characters. They highly enjoyed sharing their books and why the characters they dressed up as were their favorites. Other Reading Week activities included shopping at the Oldie Goldie Book Sale, reading with buddies in other grade levels, a field trip to Haslam's Book Store downtown, and reading outdoors with all the Lower School students for Drop Everything and Read! What a wonderful week in celebration of the best gift we give to our students...the love and joy of reading!
