MLK Day of Service, Jan. 20

Service News Upper School News

The Shorecrest community is invited to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, January 20, 2025, at the MLK Dream Big Parade in downtown St. Pete, the nation's longest-running parade celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

A Shorecrest contingent will meet at the corner of 1st Avenue South and 5th Street to watch the parade, which begins at 11am. Shorecrest community members will participate in the clean-up efforts at the conclusion of the parade around approximately 12:30pm. Wear your green and gold and join for the parade, for the cleanup, or for the full event.

The vibrant, inspiring parade travels from east to west on First Avenue South. For more information, please contact Mr. Fludd at [email protected]. All are welcome and encouraged to participate or to observe MLK Day of Service in a way meaningful to your family.

Shorecrest is closed on Monday, January 20. There is no school for students.
