Swimming and Diving: Record broken at City Championship
Shorecrest Chargers Varsity Boys & Girls Swimming and Diving competed in the City of St. Petersburg Championship Meet. The boys won 1st place (515 points), the girls took 2nd place (293 points).
"It was an impressive performances by both the boys and girls team," shared Coach Patty. "The boys are so deep that the Chargers had 3-4 swimmers in every event in finals, and setting a meet record was the icing on the cake! The girls team was able to score second place with only 9 girls in finals, so it was a herculean effort to pull it off. As we are reaching the end of the regular season, it is great to see that all of the hard work is paying off with fantastic results!"
