Shorecrest Chargers Varsity Football beat Donahue Catholic in the State Semifinals: 50-10. After falling behind 10-0 in the first quarter, the team opened the second quarter with a 48-yard touchdown run by Nickolas Bearden '25 and never looked back. The defense was able to overcome 2 early turnovers by the offense and held Donahue Catholic scoreless through the remaining three quarters. The offense managed to match the defense's dominance as it amassed 440 yards of total offense, with 390 of those yards gained in the last three quarters.

The team advances to the State Championship game and will face Masters Academy on November 18.
