Jr. Thespians Awarded at Florida State Festival

Thirty three members of Shorecrest's Jr. Thespians Troupe 88197 performed and presented an array of acts at the Florida State Junior Thespian Festival at the Orlando Convention Center with all acts receiving awards after adjudication. Four technical and eight performance events, including a large group musical act of "Gaston" from the MS production of "Beauty and the Beast Jr." and "Lullaby of Broadway" from "42nd Street" performed by students in the Thespian Elective class, all received awards of Excellence. The large group pantomime "Propos-oh-no!" directed by Mr. Belopavlovich received a Superior award, as well as the monologue "Boy Crazy" performed by Sofia A. '28.
