Forensics Team Winter 2025 Competition

The Shorecrest Middle School Forensics team travelled to Carrollwood Day School for their third meet of the year. The 15 Chargers competed against four other schools. Most schools had over 30 students in attendance, so there was a lot of competition. The categories they competed in were: Poetry, Prose, Declamation, Individual Drama, Duo Drama, Impromptu, and Original Oratory. Shorecrest students who were awarded include:

Ajay A. '30 earned 3rd place in Prose
Asha A. '30 earned 2nd place in Prose
Lexie S. '29 earned 3rd place in Impromptu
Cali F. '30 earned 2nd place in Individual Drama
Caleb S. '30 earned 4th place in Individual Drama 

"We had quite a few first time competitors and we all had a really fun time learning and getting to perform," shared their coach, Middle School Drama Teacher Sarah Berland. "We're already starting to prep for next month's meet which is the final meet of the year."
