Sarah Ayscue '25 Won Silver Medal in National Scholastic Art Awards

Congratulations to Sarah Ayscue '25 who won a Silver Medal at the Pinellas County Art Region's 2024 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for her ceramics piece "Inside Out" (pictured).
This prestigious National Medal in this year’s Scholastic Art & Writing Awards competition was adjudication along side thousands of Gold Key-awarded works in 14 media categories from all Art Regions in the U.S., territories, and Canada. The criteria used to blind-adjudicate the work by a panel of art judges were Originality, Technical Skill, and Personal Voice.
Award-winning works will be posted to the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards’ 2024 online gallery in July. Sarah and her teacher, Casey McDonough, will be invited to the virtual National Awards Ceremony later this summer.
