Rock Climbers Wish All A Happy Summer

Throughout the 2014-2015 school year, the Rock Climbing Club provided weekly outings to a gym in Tampa called Vertical Ventures. Each week, approximately twenty Upper School students, along with chaperone Mike Steele, hopped on a bus and went rock climbing, having a blast every time!
With a new, closer Vertical Ventures gym opening at the beginning of June in St. Petersburg, the hope is to organize multiple trips each week next year, or even over the summer, to maintain and develop the skills of our rock climbers. Anyone who wants to have a good time can join in!
Change is in the air, though. Early in the 2015-2016 school year, changes will be made to the club, along with the Outdoor Club, including a new executive committee, new operations, and, of course, many more rock climbing trips.
