During the first full week of school, the Class of 2019 gathered at Cedarkirk Camp & Conference Center for the annual Freshman Retreat. Over the two-day, one-night Florida field experience, the newest crop of Shorecrest freshmen enjoyed a series of outdoor challenges including a high ropes course, a canoe adventure, an evening hike, and camp-fireside s’mores. Run by the Pathfinders Outdoor Education Team, the retreat is an opportunity to build class unity and relationships, to develop leadership ability, and to test their problem-solving skills. According to the faculty and staff chaperones, the students in the Class of 2019 are excellent additions to the Shorecrest Upper School student body.
While at retreat, Freshmen voted on their Student Council Representatives. Congratulations to:Trevor B
