Friday, October 26: Girls Basketball media day
Sunday, October 28: Car Wash benefitting US Interact Club 10:30am-1pm at the front of campus.
Friday, November 2: Middle School Theatre presents "Disney's The Little Mermaid, Jr." evening performance, 7pm
Saturday, November 3: Middle School Theatre presents "Disney's The Little Mermaid, Jr." matinee performance, 2pm
Tuesday, November 6: The Art of College - virtual event (online) for students pursuing fine arts or performing arts in college, 7pm
Thursday, November 8: Fall Conference Day - No School for all school; SCA Uniform Sale; Playing the Field - virtual event (online) for students pursuing athletics in college, 7pm
Saturday, November 10: Fall Showcase, 7pm. This is a free performance in the JRT highlighting Upper School song and dance.
November and December SCA Meetings: (Parent Meeting Date TBD)
Information regarding vaping and drug usage will be presented by Dr. Reese, Adolescent Medicine and Director of the Adolescent and Young Adult Specialty Clinic at JHACH. She will lead a panel for Upper School students on Wednesday, November 14, and for Middle School students in December. She will also return to meet with interested parents about general Teen/Adolescent Health topics.
Service Week Registration
Every spring the Upper School dedicates a week to participating in global service projects. The 2019 National and International offerings are now listed on Shorecrest.org. Local opportunities will be shared in the future on the same page. View options here: click here. Students who would like to travel during Service Week must enroll in their trip by Friday, October 26. Informational meetings for parents will be offered as travel arrangements are made. Please check with chaperones of the individual trips for more information. Through generous funding of The Jan and Craig Sher Service Learning Fund, Shorecrest is able to offer one scholarship for a student interested in a national Service Week opportunity. Information to apply is on the same web page.
